Scholastic Pediatrics and Gynecology evaluate and treat patients from infancy and childhood through
adolescence and young adulthood, giving special consideration to the physical and emotional needs
of young women, and providing support in their transition from paediatric care to Gynecologyic care.

Aim And Scope:
SCPG covers a broad range of disciplines including obstetrics, gynaecology, reproductive health,
paediatrics, neonatology, nutrition, family planning, developmental psychology, sociology,
demography, epidemiology, public health, and preventive medicine. The journal addresses such
topics as social determinants of health and disease and disparities in communicable a.nd non-
communicable diseases burden affecting the health of infants, children, women, adolescents, and
families across the lifespan. Pediatric and adolescent gynecology is an emerging specialty, at the
intersection of pediatrics, pediatric endocrinology, gynecology, pediatric surgery, dermatology,
psychiatry, public health medicine and genetics. It thus addresses a wide spectrum of diseases from
the newborn period to adolescence.The gynecological problems encountered in children and
adolescents are often both medically and psychologically complex and thus require a highly skilled
and coherent approach.
