Biography:

P Sneha Balakrishnan, with  over 10 years experience earned her physiotherapy degree  from Manipal University in 2011 and completed  her Master’s in Musculoskeletal and Sports in 2013 from Rajiv Gandhi University. She is currently Associate Professor in Department of Physiotherapy, St John’s Medical College Hospital, Bangalore.  She is registered member of MIAP, AOMPT.  She is skilled in academic and hospital department administration. She is Skilled in mentoring students and guiding Post graduate students. Her Specialization in Ortho Physiotherapy includes Back pain and pelvic floor intervention. She is enthusiastic about Academic classes, webinars and skill training in practical areas from basics to specialized area.  She is Reviewer in Elsevier, Journal of Dance Medicine and Science, Journal of Bodywork & Movement Therapies, RGUHS University journals, Bulletin of Faculty of Physical Therapy. She is TOPPER –ELITE SILVER in Health research fundamentals conducted by SWAYAM PLATFORM-ICMR-NIE. She is Resource person-was invited in RGUHS EDUCATIONAL METHODOLOGY COURSE. Biography:

Dr. Mugdha Oberoi holds a Ph.D. in Physiotherapy from RK University, Gujarat, India (2024), with a research focus on mHealth and Physiotherapy care. She is a Gold Medalist in the Master’s of Physiotherapy in Neurosciences and a certified practitioner in Dry Needling, Kinesio Taping, Neuro Development Technique, and Myofascial Release Therapy.  Dr. Mugdha also has expertise in Injury Prevention, Clinical Research, and Education Management, along with a Post-Graduation Diploma in Education Management and Administration.

She holds the copyright for a specially designed mHealth Mobile Application for Physiotherapy Care and was awarded research funding from the Government of Gujarat under the SSIP scheme for her Ph.D. studies. Dr. Mugdha has also received several prestigious awards, including the Dr. S K Somaiya Award for Excellence in Research – Health Sciences (2021-2022). Her research and innovation extend into multidisciplinary projects, where she has demonstrated leadership in creating a gaming-enabled movement rehabilitation device (Robo Rehab), which received grants from IIT Mumbai and BIRAC. She has also spearheaded the development of an electronic glove, cervical training device in collaboration with KJSCOE, winning accolades at multiple Hackathons. Dr. Mugdha serves as a reviewer for numerous journals and conferences in the field of physiotherapy and has been invited to speak at International conferences. Dr. Mugdha is deeply passionate about integrating innovation and technology into Physical Therapy. She firmly believes in the transformative power of ideas to drive growth and create opportunities in the healthcare sector. Her key research interests include movement analysis, neurosciences, rehabilitation injury prevention, med-tech, ed-tech, and teaching technology.
