Biography:

Asst Prof. Dr. Arshied Manzoor hails from the state of Jammu and Kashmir in India where from he has done his schooling. He did his B. Tech. in Food Technology from Islamic University of Science and Technology, J & K and M. Tech. in Agricultural Process & Food Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, Uttar Pradesh (a top ranked central university in India). Moreover, he has earned his PhD from Aligarh Muslim University during which he was granted two fellowships namely Senior Research Fellowship by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR-New Delhi) and Maulana Azad National Fellowship (JRF-MANF). Among the national level competitive examinations, he has qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) and Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Currently, he is Assistant Professor at Integral University, Lucknow-India (Grade A+) where he teaches courses like Meat, poultry and fish technology, Food and Nutrition, Food plant layouts and Fruits and vegetable technology. Adding to the academics, he has evaluated the thesis of the project of B. Tech students from Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University. Pertaining to the research field, he has published several research/review articles in journal of national/international repute. Besides he has several book chapters published under the imprints of Elsevier, CRC, Apple Academic Press, Springer, etc. In addition, he has presented several papers in national and international conferences. To serve the research community, he is an editorial board member of the reputed journal Acta Scientific Nutritional Health. Dr. Manzoor has expertise in Recovery of natural bioactive components from food waste by novel approaches such as fabrication and characterization of edible films through valorization of agro wastes and preservation and shelf life amelioration of food products (meat/fruit) by the incorporation of bioactive compounds from agro wastes. Moreover, he has worked on preservation techniques such as osmotic dehydration assisted with microwaves for the preservation of fruits and vegetables.

Biography:
Asst. Prof. Dr. Kriti Nirmal Participating in teaching activities in the department. Involving in preparing teaching, seminar and journal club roaster. Involved in teaching undergraduate (3rd/5th Semester) & postgraduate students; conducting practical and tutorial classes, undergraduate lectures, MD students practical classes and academic discussions, postgraduate classes of allied and clinical subjects (MLT, nursing, dental classes), guiding MD students as a co supervisor. Participating in hands-on workshops in the department. Serving as speaker or guest speaker in various conferences and workshops. Actively involved as a member in various teaching institution committee like NAAC, Curriculum committee, NMC inspection committee. Executive member of teacher association of UCMS. Various professional MBBS examination and non teaching examination invigilated. Review various manuscripts in different journals.

Blood stream infection especially in neonatal septicaemia.

Dr. Sunil Chaudhry (MD, Ph. D. (AM), FICN, DIM) is Honorary Medical Director with Bioclinitech Technologies Pvt Ltd Mumbai and GPATtutor,com and Director Solutions, Thane . He has a teaching experience of 14 Years (Associate Professor - Pharmacology (1990 - 1994) Lecturer - Pharmacology (1983-1990) and Tutor Pharmacology (1980-1983). Hemore than had worked in Pharmaceutical Industry for more than 25 years in companies like Wockhardt Limited , as Senior Medical Advisor , Bayer Health care as Head Medical Affairs and at Reliance Life Sciences as Vice President , Medical. He had been involved in many drug launches, product registrations and clinical trials. Dr Chaudhry has published over 80 papers in various therapeutic areas in domestic and International Journals. He is on editorial board of Journals like Indian Medical Gazette and Indian Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology published through Innovative Group. Mais Emad Ahmed, born February 1983 Graduated from Baghdad University, College of Sciences Department Biology Within the top ten series. He obtained a master’s degree in 2006, specializing in microbiology, with a tagged thesis(Production of chitinase from Serratia marcescens byusingsolid and liquid fermention stat and its Role in Biological treatment) he obtained a doctorate for the year 2017 with the title of the thesis(Antimicrobial and inflammatory effects of bacteriocins produced and purified from multidrug resistance Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus isolation from clinical samples) I have three patents: 1- Production of zinc oxide nanoparticles by using Staphylococcus epidermidis in the smallest size (19.76 nm) for the first time at the local and global level 2.Manufacturing of a bio-additive as a preservative and flavoring agent of rosemary essential oil in some canned foods and compare it with a standard preservative: the NisinA 3- Production of Purified MRSAcin from Local Clinical Strain of Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus and Its Applicability as Antimicrobial and Anti-inflammatory of Wounds

Rajdeep Paul has done his Bachelors from Department of Microbiology, Bankura Sammilani College, The University of Burdwan. He has completed his Postgraduate from Maharishi Markandeshwar Institute, Haryana of Medical Science & Research. He has completed his Doctorate from Malwanchal University, Indore and is currently working as Assistant Professor in Chirayu Medical College & Hospital, Bhopal. His area of interest includes hospital-acquired infection and Prevention, antibiotic stewardship, laboratory Stewardship, surveillance of antimicrobial resistance & molecular diagnostics. He is also Deputy Infection Control Officer of Chirayu Medical College & Hospital. He has undergone training in Quality Management & Internal audits in Medical Labs; Programme on Implementation of NABH 5th Edition Standards for Hospitals; Several training workshops both at National and International levels on Diagnostic Microbiology, hospital-acquired infection and Prevention, antibiotic stewardship, laboratory Stewardship, surveillance of antimicrobial resistance & molecular diagnostics.

Dr. K. Srikanth is working as Associate Professor in Department of Biotechnology, VFSTR, Vadlamudi, Guntur, A.P, India.  He has completed his Ph.D (Environmental Science) at Indian Institute of Chemical Technology-Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (IICT-CSIR), Govt. of India, Hyderabad, India as Pedestal work station.  The doctoral degree was awarded from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India in the year 2011.  Completed his Masters in Biochemistry from University College Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, A.P, India.  Dr. Srikanth secured the prestigious Fundação para Ciência e a Tecnologia Postdoctoral Researcher Grant at University of Aveiro, Portugal (2012-2018). Earlier to this Dr. K. Srikanth was Brain Korea Postdoctoral Fellow at Andong National University, South Korea (2010-2011).  Dr. Srikanth has won Young Scientist Gold Medal at Association of Biotechnology and Pharmacy (ABAP) 2019. He is Associate Fellow Andhra Pradesh Akademi of Sciences, 2020, A.P, India.  Dr. K.S. Received Senior Research Fellowship from Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Govt. of India from 2007-2010. Dr. Srikanth Research majorly intendeds to understand and respond to the human induced environmental changes in the framework of sustainability in the interface of Environment and Biotechnology.  His field of expertise is in the cross field of biological effects and material science due to various environmental contaminants such as metals, pesticides, nanoparticles, microplastics and endocrine disruptors, which has given me an unique insight and profile working with a broad range of model organisms (In vivo, In vitro & In silico) studies .  He has a broad insight and interest in oxidative stress and antioxidant enzymes and morphological changes in model organisms.  Dr. Srikanth received a research grants from Biotechnology Industrial Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), Govt. of India worth ₹.49.76 L in the year 2018.  Recently he has focused our research on microplastic a potential threat to the environment and we have procured a research grant from Council of Scientific and Industrial Research as Principal Investigator worth ₹.20.14 L, 2023 and also Department of Science and Technology, DST-SEED, Govt. of India entitled “A Novel Bioreactor for Degradation of Marine Plastic Litter in Coastal Andhra Pradesh” (₹.29 L).  Dr. Srikanth authored more than 42 Research articles in various Peer Reviewed International with a cumulative impact factor of >150 and 2 book chapters, submitted research grants to various national and international funding agencies.  His publications have more than 1159 citations with an h-index of 19 (Google Scholar). He is currently guiding 5 Ph.D and 2 M.Tech students. He has attended more than 30 National and International conferences, several invited lectures as a resource person and is Editorial board member for various International Journals. At the moment PhD student at Faculty of Sciences of University of Kinshasa, From 1988 to 2021 Scientist Researcher in Laboratory of Phytochemistry, Research Centre in Natural Sciences, CRSN/Lwiro, DR Congo. From 2021 to present time Scientist Researcher at Department of Biotechnology and natural subtances, Research Centre in applied and technologic Sciences, CRSAT/Kinshasa, DR Congo. Our research interests are aimed at identifying, promoting and conserving useful plant species. We are involved in research topic of Evaluation of the potential of wild plants as source of oil. In this domain we have managed some grants and published around thirty articles, book chapters and the book in edition LAP Lambert, ISBN 978-3-8443-2388-7.
